It’s time to March Forward

It’s time to march forward! We’ve been standing with Christ Jesus these last 9 months watching the folly of our enemies. What we have seen has been unthinkable and unbelievable. God has exposed so much sin and corruption, it has been hard to watch. God is releasing a force which has been pent up for months to do the good work of restoration. God’s people are all being released to fight sin in this nation like never before. God’s army of Christians are standing up, speaking up and starting to march forward. Great change will happen. Where darkness has been, light will be once more.

Work for God

God has equipped us with the Holy Spirit, who will be with each one who fights sin and corruption. God is revealing our individual marching orders. As we move into what He has said, there needs to be a readjustment. To be honest, I’m having to simplify my menial housework so I have time to do what’s important. I am asking God what He wants done, instead of thinking about myself and my projects. This is a shift for me, because while I’ve been waiting, I’ve had time to work on personal projects. But now that it’s time to work for God, we must work for and with Him, putting our selfishness aside.

Dear God, please show me how to move forward in what you want me to do. Make it very clear to me and remove the fog that has muddled my thinking. I want to spend my time doing Your will. Rearrange my priorities so I use my time on what is important to You. I lay aside my own projects to give preference to what You’ve shown me to do.

God’s Word to us: I am with you in all that you do. My will is leading you in these changes. You will follow one step at a time. And at just the right time you will look up from your work to notice there are many on each side of you doing the exact same thing. This is good work. All are working together to prepare for what’s next. A revival is coming to this land. So do your preparation work in the quiet, while it’s still quiet.

To God’s spiritual army: arise, fight, win.

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up, encourage each other, so that no one falls behind or drops out. There is an old warfare concept based on a Latin phrase: “nemo resideo.” The phrase means: leave no one behind. Today the phrase is attributed to the U.S. Army Rangers. It’s part of their policy: “I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy.” (background of the term: French-Indian War – Robert Rogers, American frontier soldier, leader of Rogers Raiders).

Pray for People

I was asking God who to pray for recently and His answer to my heart was clear. Pray for people you know. Pray for your Christian brothers and sisters. Pray for your church and its leaders. Uplift them. When you see something worrisome, it’s for you to pray about, not gossip about or think you have all the answers to the problems. It’s for you to pray. Don’t use this discernment to hurt or judge. Life is hard and confusing. Give mercy. Pray. We want to pray for many, many Christians and churches to have courage and boldness so they can march forward with us as we fight against Satan.

Jesus is our King of Kings

It’s important to remember who we are fighting with. Here’s some verses to remind you. “In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron.”

The Lift High the Banner of Love song was written decades ago but applies so well to us today. https://youtu.be/AbnCtRfcetE Seriously, it’s worth a listen. The whole song is good but the end is so powerful. Take a moment to listen!!!

We are in a war. We are fighting sin. This is why Jesus died on the cross, to pay for our sin. Sin has corrupted our country to a breaking point. The enemy has been trying to take control. We must do what William Booth (Founder of the Salvation Army) did. He formed armies to fight sin in communities, states and country. This quote says it so well, “Work as if everything depended upon work and pray as if everything depended upon prayer.” William Booth

So I implore you to do the specific work God has put on your heart and pray for the Christians you know. It’s time to do the good work of restoration!

Scriptures used: Ephesians 6:13-18, Revelation 1:16-18 and Revelation 19:15a

  1. God has been leading me to pray for both his remnant of believers. That they will stand strong in their faith and proclaim God and his word. Also to pray for the lost that they come to know Jesus Christ as their saviour. Right now its time to pray and prepare.

    1. Yes and amen. This is an important time to pray for fellow believers. There is strength in holding each other up in prayer. Blessing to you Marredinthemastershands

  2. Amen and amen! I believe my marching orders are to convince families to homeschool by creating videos about what’s happening in our public schools and in our culture. It’s a lot of work, and I’ve questioned God about whether this will make a difference. He continues to say, “Do It.” This post helps!
