Daily Belonging

I haven’t done this in a while.  I Just need to talk to you and share all the thoughts that have been going around in my head. I feel so much better when I do.  It helps me remember that you are a good listener and that you care.  Even when it’s something trivial like trying to eat better for the umpteenth time. Thank you for caring.

God’s word to us: I do care.  And not just for the moment but for the rest of your life.  You can bring me something little or something big and I will care about it just the same.  For I love you greatly.  You are the apple of my eye.  My sweet treasure I get to enjoy talking with.  So thank you for sharing.  I love you.

Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 17:8

My hearts cry is for you to remember this day how much God loves you and truly wants to hear from you.  Today make time to talk to him about those things going round and round in your head. Even if it’s something you’ve been working on for years like eating better. He does not grow tired of it.

God loves you greatly. You are the apple of His eye. You are His sweet treasure and He enjoys talking to you.  Remember this today.

I’d love to hear your comments. -Kim

  1. Thank you Kim for your encouraging words. Sometimes I just want to share my thoughts with Him too. It’s a benefit of our salvation that we have 24/7 access to the Lord. He sacrificed Himself for me so I could talk with Him and know Him intimately. You’re right, He is an excellent listener. While I’m talking with Him I’m aware of His presence. I’m aware of Him focusing on me, giving me His full attention. It’s the most glorious experience. It’s like friends sharing with each other, just talking with each other, rather than asking for specific answers. It’s not even part of “casting all my care” . . . it’s just a comfortable friendship sharing time. Such incredible, unconditional, covenant love. I receive your love, dear Jesus, just let me soak up your goodness, your presence, and become more and more one with you.

    1. What a beautiful testimony of your relationship with Him. I’m so thankful God is listening giving us His full attention when we want to spend time with Him. Truly a privilege.
