What do I have to Give?

Jesus, I know you intend to flow through me.  But sometimes I feel I’m not a very good vessel to flow through.  I have so many physical limitations now.  I don’t feel I could give what I could before.  The last ministry was very physically demanding.  But I can’t do that anymore.  What do I have left to give?

God’s word to us: Do you think I would give you that now since you can’t give in that way anymore?  What you have to give is precious. And it will bless many.  I will not forget what you’ve given but I look forward with you to what you will give.  Thank you. You touch my heart.

For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have.        II Corinthians 8:12

My Hearts Cry for you is for you to remember today that God can use you and flow through you right now even though you may have limitations.  He wants to touch the world through you in a unique way through your set of circumstances.  God values you and rejoices when you give.

What has God been showing you that He wants to do through you?  Do you ever feel like it’s not good enough because it won’t be like it used to be? How does this scripture encourage you? Please share in the comments below.  I’d love to hear your heart and pray for you.

  1. The older I get the harder it is for me to physically do what I used to do. The Lord knows this and has opened up new doors for me to minister that is not as physically challenging. We just need to recognize and acknowledge our limitations and be open to the new ways the Lord wants us to minister.

    1. I totally agree with you. I think it’s something the Lord has to work out in us. Our expectations need to change. When we acknowledge this then we are willing to walk through those new doors of ministry.
