I feel like you will have to carry me each step through this season. There is not much left in me. I have so many commitments now, holiday preparations and appointments. Jesus be Lord of this and get me through. I feel like closing my eyes and letting you guide me. It’s not that I don’t want to see or experience anything; I do, but I am overwhelmed by the mass and complexity of it all.
God’s word to us: Oh daughter, I have planned this time out for you so long ago. It isn’t as big as it seems. Especially if you just take it one day at a time. What do you need to get done today? Put your focus on that. Then day by day we will get through this very busy season for I am with you always.
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:34
Join me in this prayer: Loving God, life is overwhelming sometimes, especially today. Please help me to focus on what I’m responsible for today. Give me the energy and strength needed. Please give me the wisdom to make decisions I need to make today, whether it’s figuring out what’s for dinner or choosing how to make the best use of my time and money. Thank you that you planned this day long ago. I’m glad you are always with me. In Jesus name, Amen

I’ve been on the phone for over two hours this evening with the Microsoft Store trying to purchase “Word.” I purchased it, installed it, and it doesn’t work. The rep transferred me to tech support, which was closed. So I’ll call again in the morning. So frustrating! Lord Jesus, please connect me with the correct rep in tech support who knows how to fix this situation. I need to use “Word” in order to complete homework assignments for a class. The assignments are due this Friday. Help, Lord! I trust you.
What a frustrating and exhausting experience. It is so challenging when things like this don’t work. Lord, I pray you will work this out and give the much needed patience during the process. Amen
Update on the frustrating experience of installing “Word” on my laptop. The next day I was again on the phone with Microsoft for an hour and a half, speaking with a nice lady from El Salvador. She was very patient and understanding. She stayed on the phone with me until both of us could see that “Word” was correctly installed and functioning correctly. Thank you Lord!
